The Shibu Twin Pagodas are a cultural heritage site protected at the district level in Cangshan District.

Shibu Twin Pagodas

Located in Longjiang Village, Chengmen Town, Cangshan District, they include the Shibu Water Pagoda and the Shibu Small Pagoda. Designated as a district-level cultural heritage site in April 1995.

The Shibu Water Pagoda is a seven-story, octagonal, pavilion-style solid stone pagoda, standing 2.7 meters tall in total, with overhanging eaves and a gourd-shaped finial. Its base is a three-tiered, octagonal Sumeru pedestal with sides 0.7 meters long.

The Shibu Small Pagoda is a seven-story, hexagonal, pavilion-style solid stone pagoda, standing 4.8 meters tall in total, with overhanging eaves, carved tile ridges and eaves tiles, and a gourd-shaped finial. The pagoda body features Buddha niches.

Longjiang Village: Situated along National Highway 324 and adjacent to the Wulong River, Longjiang Village is one of the water intake sites for Fuzhou’s waterworks. It is also known as Fuzhou’s “Eyeglasses Village,” featuring a street dedicated to production, wholesale, and retail of eyewear. The village currently has 1,641 households and a population of 5,637. In 2012, the total rural economic income was 767.53 million yuan, with village fiscal revenue of 474,900 yuan.
