The Museum of Integrity and Diligence of Historical Figures in the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is a cultural heritage site under the protection of Gulou District.

The Museum of Integrity and Diligence of Historical Figures in the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is a provincial-level integrity education base in Fujian Province. It is the most important provincial-level museum with an integrity theme in Fujian and an integral part of the national-level Three Lanes and Seven Alleys Community Museum.

The museum is situated in the historic residential courtyards at No. 48 and No. 49, Anmin Lane, Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, Gulou District, Fuzhou City. The No. 49 courtyard is the main exhibition area, featuring sections including Introduction, Public Integrity and Love for the People, Clean and Enlightened Governance, Thrift to Cultivate Integrity, and Conclusion. The No. 48 courtyard serves as the auxiliary exhibition area, displaying calligraphy and paintings of integrity figures, as well as workspaces.

Based on the historical and cultural background of the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys as a neighborhood that once hosted numerous modern celebrities, the museum collects and refines quotes, couplets, maxims, and stories about integrity culture from both ancient and contemporary figures of the area. These are presented through text panels, sculptures, scene reconstructions, paintings, physical exhibits, high-tech audiovisual displays, and interactive elements. The approach uses the small to highlight the big picture, with visitors as the medium to continuously expand and extend the reach of integrity culture.

The exhibition design and interior decoration make extensive use of lifelike sculptures, multimedia elements, and advanced digital “sound, light, and electricity” integrated control techniques. These completely break away from the traditional museum display methods that rely mainly on text, simple exhibits, and basic lighting. They emphasize the features of “scientific rigor, entertainment value, and interactivity.”

Intelligent and digital features such as the electronic display board on “Thrift to Cultivate Integrity,” the intelligent scenario system for Chen Xiang’s trial cases, the single-petition holographic imaging system, the electronic signature and photo system, the Wang Hepo multimedia imaging system, the intelligent water circulation landscape system, the intelligent sound-light-electric courtyard ecosystem, the digital lighting control system, the digital conference system, and the digital background music broadcasting system allow visitors to fully experience a perfect blend of knowledge, science, education, art, entertainment, and technology.

In the process of deeply exploring the intersection between the culture of the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys and integrity culture, the museum continuously improves and enriches new content for integrity culture construction, achieving ongoing progress in this field. It aims to establish the Museum of Integrity and Diligence as a nationally renowned integrity-themed museum.
