The Cheng Family Courtyard is located on the eastern side of Anmin Lane, near the former residence of Shen Baozhen. Originally built during the Qing Dynasty, the house was purchased in the early 1950s by its owner, Cheng Yuzhu, an overseas Chinese from the Philippines. He carefully preserved the property, which has been maintained to this day.

The residence covers an area of 390 square meters, faces south with its back to the north, and consists of a single-entry hall courtyard. It is compact and exquisitely designed, surrounded by walls on all sides, with double-leaf Ningbo-style doors equipped with door hoods. Upon entering, there is a screen wall, with a single-sided corridor running east-west. Below the corridor is a courtyard paved with strip stones, flanked by wing rooms on both sides. The main hall is three bays wide and two bays deep, partitioned into front and rear sections by a screen. The front hall features furnishings such as a horizontal case, an eight-immortal table, scholar's chairs, and a tea table, along with four pairs of preserved couplets. The rear hall has a small inner courtyard. On the east and west sides are two-story brick-and-wood buildings from the Republican era, featuring post-and-lintel wooden structures and double-sloped roofs. The beams have lamp brackets adorned with painted gold patterns. To the west across a small courtyard lies a flower hall that connects to the kitchen in the northern part. The site holds significant cultural and historical value.

Designated as a district-level cultural heritage site in 1992.

It is bordered by Bayiqi North Road to the east, adjacent to Dongjie Subdistrict; by the foot of Wushan Mountain to the south, neighboring Antai Subdistrict; by Xiaoliu and Henan Xincun to the west, bordering Hongshan Town; and by Hujie Road, Xian South Road, and Yangqiao Road to the north, abutting Huada Subdistrict and Guxi Subdistrict. The subdistrict covers an area of 1.56 square kilometers, with 16,000 households and a population of approximately 50,000. The subdistrict office is located at No. 28 Huangxiang.
