Qili Tanhua Mansion is a cultural heritage site protected by Lianjiang County.

Qili Tanhua Mansion

Located in Qili Village, Xiaocang She Ethnic Township, Lianjiang County. The owner, Lei Tuohuan (1810–1881), styled Dajin and named Bingshen, invited Chen Dachun, a fine woodworker from Daohuqiao, Minhou, to construct the mansion in June of the eighth year of the Tongzhi reign (1861). It faces south and features a main building that is seven bays wide and two bays deep, with a post-and-lintel wooden frame and a hip-and-gable roof. It is 29 meters wide, with 12 partitions, 2 straight corridors, and 2 stairwells, and 32 meters deep; the suite includes 3 straight rooms and 1 cross corridor; the perimeter is surrounded by corridors with flexible passageways. Two rows of wing rooms are built on the left and right, connected to the main house. The interior has a courtyard-style layout, a spacious scale, simple decorations, and features characteristic of She ethnic village architecture. It is now listed as a county-level cultural heritage site.

Qili Village: Qili Village is located in the northwest of Xiaocang Township, on the west bank of the upper reaches of the Ao River. It borders Rixi Township, Jin'an District, to the south and Huokou Township, Luoyuan County, to the north, at the junction of Lianjiang, Min, and Luoyuan counties. The village sits at an elevation of about 120 meters above sea level and is 60 kilometers from downtown Lianjiang. It is only 7.8 kilometers from Rixi Township, Jin'an District, Fuzhou City.

In 2000, Qili Village had jurisdiction over two natural villages—Qili and Dagang—with seven villager groups. It had 169 households and 758 residents, all of whom were of the She ethnic group.
