Fuzhou Cuiwei Temple is a cultural relic protection unit of Jin'an District.

Cuiwei Temple

Located in Qingshi Village, Hongliao Township on the outskirts of Fuzhou, it was originally built in the first year of the Tiancheng era during the Tang Dynasty (757 AD) and reconstructed in the 13th year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1887 AD), covering an area of 840 square meters. The temple faces south and includes the main hall, side rooms, and auxiliary halls. The main hall is three bays wide and three bays deep, with a single-eave, hanging-hip roof, post-and-lintel wooden framework, and a double-sloped roof. The central ridge beam bears ink inscriptions documenting the reconstruction of Cuiwei Temple by the Yongquan Temple of Drum Mountain in the year Dingsi of the Dingsi cycle (1887 AD) during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty.
