Danjing Well is located in Guidou, Guixi Natural Village, Helin Village, at the foot of Fengqiu Mountain, near the ruins of Helin Palace. The well is circular in shape and built with granite, with a depth of 5.1 meters. The well curb is carved from a single piece of granite into a circular shape, standing 100 cm high, with an inner diameter of 58 cm and an outer diameter of 87 cm. The outer wall of the well curb is inscribed with two large characters “丹井” (Danjing), in regular script, with a character diameter of 18 cm, and an inscription on the side that reads “Reconstructed in the second year of Shaoting” (the second year of Shaoting of Emperor Guangzong of the Song Dynasty was 1191 AD).
