Jindou Bridge

Jindou Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Fuzhou City.

Jindou Bridge is located at the western entrance of Wenrufang in Gulou District, Fuzhou City. It serves as a passage connecting Cangmen Street and Tonghu Road.

The bridge is constructed of stone, with a total length of 10.2 meters, a width of 3.7 meters, and a span of 4.7 meters. The bridge deck is paved with four stone slabs, each 5.4 meters long, 0.75 meters wide, and 0.20 meters thick. There are seven steps on the eastern side and eight on the western side. There are six balusters and four railings, with the inscription “Ancient Jindou Bridge” carved on the railings.

In 1992, it was designated as part of the third batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units in Fuzhou City under the name “Seven Bridges of Qionghe.”

Nanjie Subdistrict: Nanjie Subdistrict is located in the central-western part of Gulou District. To the east, it borders Dongjie Subdistrict along Bayiqi Bei Road; to the south, it faces the foot of Wushan Mountain and neighbors Antai Subdistrict; to the west, it extends to Xiaoliu and Henan Xincun, connecting with Hongshan Town; and to the north, it is bounded by Hujie Road, Xian’nan Road, and Yangqiao Road, adjacent to Huada Subdistrict and Guxi Subdistrict. It covers an area of 1.56 square kilometers, has 16,000 households, and a population of approximately 50,000. The subdistrict office is located at No. 28 Huangxiang.
