Guanglu Recitation Platform, also known as "Jade Ruler Mountain," is a famous scenic spot in Fuzhou. It is located at No. 8 Guanglu Lane, at the northeast entrance of Guanglu Lane in Gulou District, on the site of the Fahsiang Temple from the Song Dynasty. In the third year of the Xining reign during the Song Dynasty, Cheng Shimeng, the Prefect of Fuzhou and an official of the Imperial Household Department, often visited this place and inscribed the name "Guanglu Recitation Platform" in seal script. During the Qing Dynasty, Lin Zexu released cranes here, and prominent figures of the Tongguang School from Fujian, such as Chen Yan, Zheng Xiaoxu, and Lin Shu, also frequently gathered here to compose poetry. Among the scenic spots in Guanglu Lane, Guanglu Recitation Platform is the most renowned. It features a harmonious ensemble of ponds, platforms, pavilions, rocks, flowers, and trees. It preserves landscapes from the Qing Dynasty such as curved ponds, stone bridges, and small pavilions, along with over ten cliff inscriptions dating from the Song Dynasty to the Republican era. It serves as a destination for visitors and a gathering place for literati, boasting profound historical significance and cultural heritage value.

Originally the site of Fahsiang Temple from the Song Dynasty, in the third year of the Xining reign (1070), Cheng Shimeng, serving as the Prefect of Fuzhou with the honorary title of Imperial Household Department Minister, would visit the temple in his leisure time to tour and compose poetry. The monks of the temple inscribed the words "Guanglu Recitation Platform" on the rock face for him.

Existing cliff inscriptions include: (1) a poem by Zeng Yangfeng; (2) a record by Cheng Shimeng; (3) an inscription by Hou Yinpei; (4) the main title "Guanglu Recitation Platform"; (5) the main title "Min Mountain"; (6) the main title by Wu Xian; (7) the main title by Hu □□; (8) the main title by Lu Xingrong and others. These inscriptions hold extremely high artistic, historical, and cultural relic value.

The four seal-script characters "Guanglu Recitation Platform" are 0.9 meters high and 1.2 meters wide, accompanied by 12 cliff inscriptions from the Song to the Qing Dynasties. In front of the massive rock are several continuous stones, including one curved stone resembling a ruler. Nearby is a pond, with a stone bridge connecting to a small hill to the northeast of the platform, where a small pavilion has been built.

No. 8 Guanglu Lane is Jade Ruler Mountain, a branch of Wushan Mountain, forming an ancient garden composed of natural massive rocks, ponds, pavilions, and floral greenery.

It was listed among the first batch of cultural relic protection units of Fuzhou in 1961.
