Seven-Star Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Fuzhou City.

Located in Guozhai Village, Gaishan Town, Cangshan District, it was built during the Song Dynasty as a stone bridge with two piers and three flat-beam spans. It runs east-west across Baihu River. The bridge is 33.5 meters long and 3.6 meters wide, with unequal spans, and one span has been silted up. The piers are rectangular. Each bridge span is constructed with four stone beams, one of which features an inscription from the “Tiansheng Tenth Year” (1032). The bridge deck has since been reconstructed with cement and widened. A four-corner pavilion has been erected on the bridge—a wooden structure with a single-eave hip-and-gable roof, later converted into a cement pavilion in the 1980s to enshrine three local deities known as the Three Dukes (local gods). The bridge railings have also been replaced from wood to cement. This bridge is an important example of a Song Dynasty stone beam bridge with a clear date inscription and holds certain cultural heritage value. It was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit in November 1992.

Guozhai Village: Location — situated at Fuzhou’s southern gateway, between the northern branch of the Min River (Bei Gang) and the Wulong River, in the central part of Nantai Island, approximately 8 kilometers from downtown Fuzhou.

Boundaries — bordered by Fu-Xia Road to the east, Yexia Village to the south, Yuejin Village to the west, and Baihu Village (South Second Ring Road) to the north.

Natural villages (or villager groups) within the area — the village comprises eight villager groups: Zhongxiang, Qiaodong, Qiaoxi, Shangzhou, Tianputou, Niudao, and Guanyin Pavilion.

Land area (all types) — the village covers approximately 1,500 mu of various types of land (including residential committees).
