The Fujian Meifeng Bank is a protected cultural heritage site of Fujian Province.

The Fujian Meifeng Bank is located at No. 5, Lane 29, Guanjin Road, Cangshan District, and is one of the early Western-style buildings on Yantai Mountain. Over the past century, the building has seen many changes in use, with confirmed occupants including the Yuchang Foreign Firm, Baoshun Foreign Firm, Tongzhen Foreign Firm, the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA), Fujian Christian University, Fujian Meifeng Bank, Mobil Oil, and Fuzhou Pharmaceutical Factory, among others. Among these, the periods when it housed the private Fujian Christian University and the Fujian Meifeng Bank are the most notable. The building is a two-story brick-and-wood structure with a square floor plan, each side measuring 24 meters, and a facade spanning seven bays. Originally designed in the typical colonial veranda-style, the second floor and roof were later modified to include traditional Chinese architectural elements such as overhanging eaves and upturned corners, though the roof still features chimneys from fireplaces. In January 2013, the building was included in the “Yantai Mountain Modern Architectural Complex” under the name “Former Site of the Private Fujian Christian University” and was designated as a provincial-level cultural heritage site of Fujian.

Cangqian Subdistrict: Cangqian Subdistrict is located in the central part of Cangshan District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. To the east, it borders Puding in Xiadu Subdistrict; to the north, it faces the Min River and connects with Guanjin Road in Linjiang Subdistrict; to the west, it adjoins Longtanjiao in Shangdu Subdistrict; and to the south, it meets Jinxing Village of Cangshan Township in the suburban area. It covers an area of 0.991 square kilometers, with over 12,000 households and a population of nearly 30,000. The subdistrict office is located at Building G, Xinlong Shengshi, No. 3 Juhe Road, and it governs ten neighborhood committees: Longfeng, Meiwu, Maoyuan, Zhenxing, Gongyuan, Wanchun, Laogong, Xingyuan, Limin, and Hangxing.
