Qifeng Lin Ancestral Hall

The Qifeng Lin Ancestral Hall is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The “Qifeng Lin Ancestral Hall” is located south of the former residence of Lin Chunze. It was first built in the 11th year of the Kangxi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1672) to enshrine Lin Chunze, who served as the Prefect of Chengfan in the Ming Dynasty, his son Lin Yingliang, and his grandson Ru Chu. The structure consists of three courtyards, each with a width of three bays and a depth of five columns, featuring a post-and-lintel wooden frame and a hip-and-gable roof. The building covers a floor area of 389 square meters. Above the main gate is a stone horizontal plaque inscribed with “Qifeng Lin Ancestral Hall,” and above that plaque is a vertical stone tablet reading “By Imperial Decree for Ancestral Worship.” Upon entering the main gate is the first entrance hall, where a plaque conferred by the emperor, reading “Village Sage Ancestral Hall,” is hung.

Nanyu Town: Nanyu Town is located in the southern part of Minhou County, at the foot of Qishan Mountain and west of the Dazhangxi River. It faces Nantong Township across the Zhangxi River to the east, overlooks the South Island of Fuzhou to the northeast, borders Getangqian Township of Gelin in Yongtai County to the southwest, and connects to Shangjie Town to the north. The town covers an area of 170.5 square kilometers. It administers 23 administrative villages and 1 residents' committee. In 2000, it had 16,205 households and a population of 56,305.
