The former residence of Lin Yingliang was originally built by Lin Chunze but was destroyed in a great fire in the 13th year of the Jiajing reign. Later, Lin Yingliang, the eldest son of Lin Chunze, rebuilt it on the original site. It is known as the "Zhongya" and is a typical example of an official residence from the Ming Dynasty.

Nanyu Town: Nanyu Town is located in the southern part of Minhou County, at the foot of Qishan Mountain and on the western bank of the Dazhangxi River. To the east, it faces Nantong Township across the Zhangxi River; to the northeast, it lies opposite Nantai Island in Fuzhou; to the southwest, it borders Geling Tangqian Township in Yongtai County; and to the north, it connects to Shangjie Town. The town covers an area of 170.5 square kilometers. It administers 23 administrative villages and one residents' committee, with a total of 16,205 households and 56,305 people recorded in the year 2000. The town government is located in Nanqi Village.

The town is named after the Jinxi River that runs through it, with the southern bank called Nanyu (hence the name Nanyu Town), while the northern bank is called Beiyu (also known as Shuixi).
