The Ancestral Hall of Gao Yingsong is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Located in Yangbu Village, Guhuai Town, Changle City, it was built during the Hongwu era (1368–1398) of the Ming Dynasty by County Magistrate Wang Zundao, and its full name is “Jinyu Gao Family Loyal and Martyred Ancestral Hall.” It underwent renovations during both the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China period. The structure consists of two courtyards and retains the architectural layout of a Ming Dynasty ancestral hall, with over ten plaques still preserved.

In 1986, the People's Government of Changle County (now Changle City) designated it as a county-level cultural heritage site. In January 2001, the People's Government of Fujian Province listed it as part of the fifth group of provincial-level cultural heritage sites.

Gao Yingsong (1212–1276)

Gao Yingsong, styled Yunmu, was a native of Yutou. He was born in the fifth year of Jiading (1212) during the reign of Emperor Ningzong of the Southern Song Dynasty. In his youth, Yingsong was serious-minded and ambitious, diligent and studious. In 1241, during the Chunyou era of Emperor Lizong, he passed the imperial examination as a Juren (recommended man), and in 1259, during the Kaixing era, he achieved the rank of Jinshi (presented scholar). He served as a professor in Hengzhou and then as Tongpan (assistant prefect) of Guangde Military Prefecture. He was later summoned to serve as an official at the Imperial College, promoted to Vice Director of the Ministry of Rites, and temporarily served as an academician in the Hanlin Academy.

After the death of Emperor Lizong, through the reigns of Emperor Duzong and up to Emperor Gong (Zhao), who was young at the time and under the regency of Grand Empress Dowager Xie Daoqing, the Yuan Dynasty’s supreme commander, Bayan, led troops to attack the Southern Song. Yangbu Village: Yangbu Village, historically known as Yunmu Village, was formerly part of Lianfeng Li in Shan Zheng Township. During the Yuan Dynasty, it belonged to the Sixth Tu of the Eleventh Du, within Yanfu Jing. In May 1997, it was split off from Yutou Village to become an independent administrative village, neighboring Yunan, Hunan, and Yantang. It has 259 households with a population of 897. The total area is 0.29 square kilometers, including 332 mu of arable land. In 2013, the per capita income of farmers was 7,013 yuan. From 2011 to 2013, the village’s fiscal revenue was 273,687 yuan.
