The Idle Cloud Stone is a cultural relic protection unit of Fuqing City.

The Idle Cloud Stone is located in Douqu Garden in Yuping Subdistrict and dates back to the Ming Dynasty.

In 1981, it was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

Yuping Subdistrict: Located at the center of Fuqing urban area, Yuping Subdistrict is the seat of the Fuqing Municipal People’s Government. It was officially established in December 2006. As the commercial and financial hub of Fuqing, the subdistrict serves as a convergence point for people, goods, and capital in the city. It integrates culture, entertainment, education, business, residence, industry, and trade. Covering an area of 7.3 square kilometers, it has a total population of approximately 150,000, including around 61,000 registered residents. The subdistrict administers 14 communities and 1 village. There are currently 24 grassroots Party organizations, including 5 community Party committees, with a total of 1,462 Party members.
