The Dongzhang Kiln Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Fuqing City.

The Dongzhang Kiln Site is located in Lingxia Village, Shipeng Village, Dongzhang Town, and dates back to the Song Dynasty.

In 1981, the Dongzhang Kiln Site was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Dongzhang Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Fuqing City. Established as Dongzhang Town in 1950, reorganized as a commune in 1958, and reinstated as a town in 1984. It is located in the northwest of the city, 13 kilometers from the city center. Covering an area of 128 square kilometers with a population of 30,000, it governs 18 village committees including Xianjin, Xianfeng, Xiangshan, Banling, Laidi, Sanxing, Daoqiao, Xibei, Huashi, Luling, Lingxia, Jishan, Cuihou, Shuangxi, Jinzhi, Yulin, Shaolin, and Nanhu, as well as the Dongzhang Neighborhood Committee. Major enterprises include rattan, wood, and bamboo product manufacturing, food processing, and tripod casting factories. The main agricultural product is rice.
