Shizhu Chan Temple is a cultural heritage site under the protection of Fuqing City.

Shizhu Chan Temple is located on Shizhu Mountain in Shizhu Subdistrict and dates back to the Tang Dynasty.

In 1981, Shizhu Chan Temple was designated as a county-level cultural heritage site.

Shizhu Subdistrict: Shizhu Subdistrict is located at the western gateway of Fuqing urban area. It was established in December 2006, having previously been part of the former Honglu Town. The district spans from Zhenfeng Village in the east, Beiqianting Village in the west, Yangzi Village in the south, and Qingchang Avenue in the north, covering an area of 15.4 square kilometers. It administers eight administrative villages and one community, with a total population of 53,000.
