Xianji Temple is a cultural relics protection unit of Fuqing City.

Xianji Temple is located in Yidu Village, Yidu Town, and dates back to the Song Dynasty.

In 1981, Xianji Temple was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

Yidu Village: Situated in the northwest of Fuqing City, Yidu Village connects three regions — bordering Minhou County to the north, Putian City to the south, and Yongtai County to the west. Known for its landscape of “nine parts mountain, half part water, and half part field,” Yidu Village is the center of Yidu Town, covering a land area of 25 square kilometers, making it the largest administrative village in the town. The village comprises 26 natural villages, with a total population of 3,057, 69 Party members, and 7 members of the village’s two committees. It has 23,200 mu of mountainous land, with a forest coverage rate of 80%, and 1,650 mu of arable land, serving as Fuqing City’s natural backyard garden.
