Haikou Ruiyan Temple is a cultural heritage site protected at the Fuqing City level.

Haikou Ruiyan Temple is located on Ruiyan Mountain in Haikou Town and dates back to the Song Dynasty.

In 1981, Haikou Ruiyan Temple was designated as a county-level cultural heritage site.

Haikou Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Fuqing City. Established as the Haikou Commune in 1958 and upgraded to a town in 1984. It is situated in the eastern part of the city, at the mouth of the Longjiang River, bordering Fuqing Bay to the southeast, and is 9 kilometers from the city center. The town covers an area of 66.5 square kilometers and has a population of 90,000. Haikou Port has four docks and seven berths dedicated to aquaculture, cargo, passenger transport, and petroleum.
