The Longyu Stepping Stone Bridge is located on Old Street in Yidu Village, Yidu Town, and dates back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

In 2016, the Longyu Stepping Stone Bridge was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

Yidu Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Fuqing City. Established as Yidu Commune in 1961, reorganized as a township in 1984, and upgraded to a town in 1994. It is located in the northwest of the city, 20 kilometers from the city center. Covering an area of 115 square kilometers with a population of 11,000, it administers six village committees: Wangkeng, Puli, Yidu, Dongshan, Shanshan, and Houxi. Major local enterprises include factories producing preserved fruits, beverages, and paper products. Agricultural products consist of rice, sweet potatoes, and timber.
