Fuzhou Jin’an District Huatian National Defense Education and Training Center is located in the hometown of the world-renowned Shoushan stone. Relying on the Jin’an District anti-aircraft gun management and training base, it neighbors the municipal-level cultural relic protection unit and patriotic education base — “Fuzhou Bayiqi Park,” at an altitude of 470 meters. Here, the scenery is picturesque and the climate is pleasant, offering unique geographical advantages.

The center covers an area of 120 mu, including about 9,000 square meters of training grounds and approximately 3,000 square meters of shooting ranges. It leases 26 mu of farmland and 36 mu of forested mountain land as crop cultivation areas, animal breeding zones, and modern agricultural zones, suitable for field labor and sightseeing. Additionally, it has built infrastructure such as a training building, meeting rooms, classrooms, barracks, dormitories, and a dining hall, with a total area of about 16,000 square meters, capable of accommodating over 800 people for collective accommodation and social practice activities. The center currently has 75 employees, including 28 professional teachers and instructors. It is a national defense education base authorized by the Fujian Provincial Government and Fuzhou Municipal Government, as well as a Fuzhou Youth Activity Center and Fuzhou Youth Moral Education Base authorized by the Fuzhou Committee on the Care of the Next Generation. It also serves as the second classroom for Fuzhou students. To ensure the quality and depth of education and training, the center has signed a trusteeship agreement with Shoushan Township Government for the “Fuzhou Bayiqi Park,” and cooperation agreements with Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Cross-Strait Academy of Chinese Studies, Fuzhou Moore Expansion Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd., and Suzhou Oriental ZhiLv Information Technology Co., Ltd., to enrich students' social practice activities. Here, visitors can closely experience the profound culture of Shoushan stone; visit the Bayiqi Martyrs’ Park, pay tribute to revolutionary martyrs, learn about the history of Fuzhou’s liberation, and cherish the precious, peaceful, and stable life. Quality expansion activities such as Shaolin Foot Stomp, Trust Fall, Suspension Bridge, Energy Transfer, and All for One help train students’ physical fitness and enhance their team spirit. Field labor activities such as weeding, sowing, fertilizing, fruit tree grafting, and harvesting allow students to experience the hardships of labor and the joy of hands-on work. Domestic life experiences, wilderness survival, emergency drills, and self-rescue and mutual rescue programs improve students’ survival skills. Traditional craft activities such as eggshell painting, paper-cutting, Chinese knotting, silk flower making, soybean milk grinding, bamboo pole dancing, diabolo playing, butterfly specimen making, pottery modeling, bonsai, and flower arrangement help students gain a more intuitive and profound understanding of the richness of traditional Chinese culture. National defense education, anti-aircraft gun displays, and military training help strengthen students’ sense of organizational discipline and inspire their patriotic enthusiasm.

The center enjoys convenient transportation, just 7 kilometers from downtown. You can take bus No. 9, 28, 87, 102, 117, 729, or 945 to the Xindian (on Fufei Road) stop in the city area, then transfer to rural passenger transport. For private cars, navigate to Shoushan Township Government (the anti-aircraft base is right across the street).
