Feiyun Gorge Scenic Area

The Feiyun Gorge Scenic Area is located in Lingtou Village, Shoushan Township, in the northern suburbs of Fuzhou City, just 12 kilometers from downtown Fuzhou. It lies about 7 kilometers up from the National Forest Park and is part of the renowned Shoushan Stone “National Mine Park.” With an elevation of around 400 meters, the scenic area features high mountains, dense forests, clear mountain springs, and no industrial pollution. It is a well-preserved original ecological natural landscape leisure and resort destination.

The scenic area spans approximately 1,000 acres, and features the longest high-altitude cable glide in China, stretching across a 580-meter canyon with a drop of 40–50 meters. Riding the glide cable, passengers can soar through the air like birds at speeds of 10 meters per second, flying over forests and artificial lakes while overlooking the lush green land and rippling blue waters. Experience the thrill and excitement — the cable glide is safe, smooth, endlessly fun, and suitable for all ages.

A winding river flows through the rugged heart of the canyon. Drifting downstream in a rubber raft, with the sky above and water stretching far, sunlight shining brightly and green mountains all around, you’ll be filled with anticipation — anticipation for thrills, for adventure, for battling nature, and for the relief that comes after a rush that’s “scary but safe”!

In this era of fashionable living, more and more people are seeking thrills. The Feiyun Gorge Scenic Area offers a grass-skiing activity covering approximately 10,000 square meters, known as “flying on grass.” The grass skiing slope is about 135 meters long,

roughly 80 meters wide, with a hillside slope of 10 degrees descending 60 meters in length, plus an additional 20-meter flat section. Imported Japanese zoysia grass is used, making it another great spot for outdoor activities. This is also an exhilarating outdoor sport — sliding down the grassy slope and drifting in a sea of green, offering thrilling excitement and pure joy.

The scenic area also features an archery project covering an area of over 1,000 square meters. Archery, or the art of the bow, is a sport where participants use the elasticity of a bow to shoot arrows and compete for accuracy within a certain distance.

In addition to experiencing a variety of adventure activities such as water sports, tug-of-war, cooperation shoes, and human flag poles, the scenic area has also built a restaurant tailored to the local terrain, offering a wide variety of farm-style cuisine.
