Jiang Tao Martyrs' Cemetery is located in Aoshan Park on Shangqi, Langqi Town.

Jiang Tao, the martyr, was born in 1912 in Shangqi Village, Langqi, Fuzhou. In 1929, he joined the Chinese Communist Party through the introduction of Ye Fei. He served in various positions including member and standing committee member of the CPC Min Dong Special Committee, and as Party Secretary of Luoyuan and Zhouning counties. Unfortunately, he was killed by the Kuomintang in April 1941 in Zhouning County. In 1988, the suburban government of Fuzhou Municipality approved Shangqi as a revolutionary base village, and the Provincial Civil Affairs Bureau allocated funds to build the Jiang Tao Martyrs' Cemetery. The cemetery covers an area of 1,600 square meters. The martyrs' memorial monument stands over 10 meters tall, soaring into the sky with a majestic presence. The monument is adorned with marble, and on its front are eight large characters inscribed by Ye Fei, former Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress: “Eternal Glory to Comrade Jiang Tao.” The base of the monument features reliefs depicting scenes from the War of Resistance against Japan, the Liberation War, and the Agrarian Revolutionary War. Below the monument stand a pair of stone pillars, surrounded by a granite screen. Also within the cemetery is a “Never Forget the Bloodshed” memorial stele, whose inscription documents the inhumane atrocities suffered by the people of Langqi during the Japanese occupation sixty years ago.

In 2001, Jiang Tao Martyrs' Cemetery was designated as a Fuzhou Municipal Patriotic Education Base by the CPC Fuzhou Municipal Committee and the Fuzhou Municipal People’s Government.
