Luoyang Lingshan Fairyland is located in Kengnei, Jindong Village, Luoyang Town, Hui’an County, Fujian Province, bordering Zhangban Town. The scenic area features bizarrely shaped rocks and beautiful landscapes. The *Hui’an County Annals* record that “the chanting of Pingshan Temple echoes to Lingshan.”

Originally, there was a Horseshoe Crab Shell Temple on Lingshan Mountain. It was rebuilt during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty and renamed Lingshan Temple. Here, peaks are covered in verdant greenery, and the landscape is dotted with rugged rocks and numerous attractions, creating a world apart. The site is rich in folk legends and inscriptions from various dynasties, with a spiritual aura permeating between the mountain rocks, plants, and trees. When you visit, you can listen to the waves of the East China Sea, gaze at the sails on the Luo River, pluck a piece of rosy cloud, and tread on the sea of clouds. The scenery, near and far, offers endless charm in all seasons.

Chen Yucheng, the magistrate of Hui’an in the late Ming Dynasty and a “Jinshi (presented scholar),” resigned from office to become a monk and inscribed the four characters “Filial Piety Moves Both Worlds” at Lingshan Temple. The legend surrounding the “Immortal’s Temple” here is even more miraculous.
