Shanjia Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Hui’an County. In 1958, it was established as the Shanjia Management Area under the Feiyue People’s Commune, came under Chongwu People’s Commune in 1961, became the Shanjia People’s Commune in 1974, was restructured as a township in 1984, and upgraded to a town in 1992. Located in the southeastern part of the county, it is 15 kilometers from the county seat, covering an area of 30 square kilometers with a population of 49,000. It is traversed by the Hui-Chong and Quan-Chong highways. The town administers 16 village committees: Shanjia, [names omitted], Yingyuan, Qianzhang, Tianqian, Xintang, Houyang, Shan Yao, Dadan, Tianbian, Qingshan, Dongkeng, Donglian, Daitou, and Xiakeng.
