China Stone Carving Art Expo Park

The "China Stone Carving Art Expo Park" is one of the few theme parks in China that showcases a collection of premium stone carving artworks. It houses over 500 stone carving masterpieces in various artistic styles, blending harmoniously with the ancient city and the sea. The renowned painter Mr. Hong Shiqing devoted years of effort to creating these works, drawing inspiration from the natural forms of sea cliffs and rock formations. By following the shape and momentum of the rocks, he crafted more than 170 vivid and expressive artistic pieces. Among them, the "Earth Art," the largest rock sculpture in China, is hailed as a marvel of stone carving art.

Chongwu Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Hui’an County. Established as Chongwu Town in 1939, it was part of Feiyue Commune in 1958, then became Chongwu Commune in 1961, and was re-established as a town in 1984. Located on the southeastern coastal protrusion of the county, it is just 97 nautical miles east of Taiwan, making it one of the closest points across the Taiwan Strait, and about 23 kilometers from the county seat. It covers an area of 196 square kilometers with a population of 680,000. The Huizhong Highway passes through the town. It governs 12 village committees: Dama, Gangqian, Jingjiang, Lianxi, Haimen, Chaole, Xihua, Wufeng, Xiaxi, Qian’an, Longxi, and Xidi.
