Hui'an Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument

The Hui'an Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument is a classic site on China's red tourism routes.

The Hui'an Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument is located at the foot of Lotus Mountain on the western side of Keshan Park, adjacent to the Hui'an Revolutionary History Memorial Hall.

In 1981, the People's Government of Hui'an County relocated the martyrs originally buried in the areas around Mashan outside the east gate and Luoshan outside the west gate of the county town to the northwest side of Keshan, and erected the monument to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs who gloriously sacrificed their lives for the victory of the New Democratic Revolution and the socialist cause.

In 1998, due to the large-scale development of Keshan Park, the monument was rebuilt at a new site at the foot of Lotus Mountain on the western side of Keshan Park.

The monument is built against the mountain, higher in the northwest and lower in the southeast, covering an area of 1,800 square meters with a protected area of 32,500 square meters.
