The Taixi Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.

The Taixi Basin Water Conservancy Scenic Area integrates natural and cultural landscapes, featuring a wealth of hydrological, celestial, ecological, engineering, and cultural sights. Blessed with exceptional natural conditions and a pleasant environment, it has formed a “one axis, two cores, three belts, three poles, and multiple points” landscape experience layout along the Taixi Basin.

The riverside area is covered with lush grass and shaded by green trees, offering fresh air that resembles a natural green oxygen bar. Along both banks of the stream, local nursery resources from Yongchun County are utilized to ensure flowers bloom all year round, maintaining plant diversity in the scenic area. A variety of aquatic plants are planted in the river channel, creating a harmonious blend of water and pathway scenery. Strolling through the area provides visitors with multi-layered enjoyment.

The surrounding area of the scenic spot boasts outstanding cultural heritage and enchanting legends, showcasing distinctive local cultural landscapes of Yongchun.

The scenic area features the Dongguan Bridge (Tongxian Bridge), a landscape corridor bridge dating back to the Song Dynasty, the martial arts culture of Yongchun White Crane Fist, the charm of the ancient Wulijie Street, exploration of traditional dwellings, visits to relics of the “Maritime Silk Road,” the former residences of notable figures in Wufeng, Baihangyan, Wujiran, and Xueshanyan—famous mountains and ancient temples—as well as highland leisure and sightseeing spots such as Chengxiang Snow Mountain and Dongxi Grand Canyon, and the planned Indonesian Cultural Garden.
