The Muyun She Ethnic Township Ecotourism Area is a national AAA-level scenic spot, abundant in tourism resources, rich in She ethnic charm, and known for its distinctive attractions. Situated at the foot of the Fu'an Baiyun Mountain—a UNESCO Global Geopark and national AAA-level scenic area—the area benefits from convenient transport links and is a key component of the Northeast Fujian Water Tourism Route. Development of the site commenced in 2013, primarily comprising two major attractions: Xitai Grape Valley and Hutou Peach Blossom Land. Xitai Grape Valley captivates with its picturesque streams and mountains, vibrant She ethnic culture, and grapevines lining the waterways. The village’s 7-kilometer-long water grape valley is hailed as “one of China’s three great grape valleys.” Hutou Peach Blossom Land, nestled against mountains and beside water, boasts beautiful scenery, simple folkways, and a tranquil atmosphere. The local She people mainly grow “Muyang Honey Peaches,” making it one of the largest production bases for this fruit. When the peach blossoms are in full bloom, the landscape becomes a vast expanse of competing blooms. With the development of the Muyun She Ethnic Township Ecotourism Area in recent years, visitor numbers have increased year by year, establishing it as a well-known destination across Fujian Province and even nationally.
