Dache Palace

Dache Palace is a cultural heritage site protected by Fu'an City.

Dache Palace is located in Dache Village, Gantang Town, Fu'an City. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, it is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

Oriented from northeast to southwest, it consists of a front hall, two corridors, a courtyard, and the main hall. The front hall was first built in the 25th year of the Daoguang reign during the Qing Dynasty (1845), featuring a three-bay width and a depth of three pillars minus the central pillar. The main hall follows the architectural style of the Qianlong era, with a depth of four pillars, minus the central pillar, a five-bay width, an overall length of 14 meters, a width of 13.3 meters, and a total floor area of 186.2 square meters. It enshrines the local earth deity, the Goddess of Mercy (Nainai), and Lord Lin the Great. The structure employs a post-and-lintel and Dougong (bracket set) timber-framed system with brick and wood materials.

On February 20, 2013, the People's Government of Fu'an City designated it as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.
