Qinxi Wufu Hall is a cultural heritage site protected by Fu’an City.

Qinxi Wufu Hall is located in Qinxi Village, Chengyang Town, Fu’an City. It was built in the fifth year of the Zhengde era of the Ming Dynasty (1510) and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

Located along the road in Qinxi Village, Chengyang Town, Fu’an City, it was first built in 1510 and has been maintained through the ages, with the most recent renovation in 1988. The hall is a traditional courtyard-style building constructed with earth and wood, facing south with a slight northwest orientation at 30 degrees. It has a total width of 14.1 meters and a depth of 19.04 meters, covering a floor area of 268.5 square meters. The main components are the entrance gate tower and the main hall. The main hall has three bays with two side passageways, six interior columns, and is a single-story structure with a hanging hip roof and a post-and-lintel wooden frame. The front eave columns feature three-tiered bracket sets supporting the rafters and overhanging eaves. The brackets are square and double-layered, showing signs of considerable age. Inside the hall, there is a preserved stone Sumeru pedestal dating back to the fifth year of the Zhengde era, featuring roughly carved floral patterns that are bold, rich, and full—exhibiting distinct Ming Dynasty style and remarkable beauty. At the center of the Sumeru pedestal of the shrine on the same level, there is a vertically inscribed stele that reads: “On the 26th day of the 12th month in the fifth year of Zhengde (left text), Qin Yuan devout woman Kang Zhiniang donated one tael and three qian of silver to renovate this Buddha seat, praying for her husband Lian Keyuan to ascend to the immortal realm early, and also to bless the longevity of her family. Encouraged by the benefactors, Shi Men Dongtang Monk Wenli and Lian Kegang (main text), established on the day of Xushi (right text).” On the next level, there is another stele inscribed in the middle, bearing the signature and dated the seventh day of the first month in the third year of the Hongzhi era, corresponding to the cyclical year of Gengxu, specifically recording the names of donors and the amounts they contributed. The overall structure of the building appears relatively low, with slender beams and columns but an ancient style. The numerous inscriptions inside the hall hold significant value for the study of religious culture and local history.

On February 20, 2013, the People’s Government of Fu’an City designated it as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.

Protected area: An extension of 5 meters beyond the outer walls of the building.
