Woping Zhongping Marquis Palace is a cultural relic protection unit of Fu’an City.

Woping Zhongping Marquis Palace is located in Panxi Village, Xitan Town, Fu’an City. Dating back to the Qianlong era of the Qing Dynasty (1736–1795), it is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

Located northwest of No. 9 Hanyang in Panxi Village, Xitan Town, it was built during the Qing Dynasty (1736–1795), facing southeast and backing northwest. The building features a mixed post-and-lintel and beam-raising timber frame, with the central bay of the main hall omitting the middle column. The roof trusses are tall, creating an open and airy interior, and a wooden rain curtain is installed in front of the corridor. The structure spans 15.5 meters in width and extends 34.3 meters in depth, covering a total area of 531.65 square meters. It consists of a theater stage, courtyard, main and auxiliary platforms, and a main hall. Both the theater stage and the main hall feature hanging gables with swallowtail ridges. The main hall has five bays in width and is supported by six columns, using a mixed post-and-lintel and beam-raising timber frame. The central bay omits the middle column, and the high roof trusses create an open and bright space. A wooden rain curtain is installed in front of the corridor, serving both to block rain and provide shade, preventing the shrine area from becoming overly bright—a unique design rarely seen in the region. The theater stage is five bays wide and three columns deep. The roof ridge is divided into three sections, with two opposing carved fish in the central section. The offering platform houses two stone incense burners inscribed with “13th Year of Zhengde” and “Year of You in the Daoguang Reign” respectively. The palace building is of considerable age yet remains well-preserved, offering valuable insights into the architectural style and cultural significance of Qing Dynasty ancestral halls.

On February 20, 2013, the People’s Government of Fu’an City designated it as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit in the fifth batch of such listings.
