The former residence of General Chen Ting is a cultural relic protection unit of Fu'an City.

The former residence of General Chen Ting is located in Houyang Village, Tantou Town, Fu'an City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is categorized as an important modern historical site and representative building.

The former residence of General Chen Ting is located at No. 75 in the center of Houyang Village. Originally built during the Qing Dynasty, it faces southwest. The house features both front and rear courtyards, is six bays deep and three bays wide, with a central hall and a staircase passage on the left. It has a total depth of 15.02 meters, a total width of 12.58 meters, and covers a floor area of 188.95 square meters. Due to its age and lack of maintenance, the building has tilted slightly. Years of use without proper ventilation have resulted in darkened beams and rafters. This house was the residence of Chen Ting, a pioneer of the revolution in eastern Fujian, and serves as an excellent physical site for patriotic education in our city. It holds significant value for the study of the history of key revolutionary figures in our region.

On February 20, 2013, the Fu'an Municipal People's Government designated it as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit in the fifth batch.

Houyang Village: Houyang Village is located in the northwest of Tantou Town and administers two natural villages, Houyang and Wangshakeng, with an average elevation of over 560 meters and is 16 kilometers away from the town center. The village currently has 341 households and a population of 1,336. It has a village committee of 6 members and 28 Party members. The arable land covers 2,400 mu, including 900 mu of paddy fields, 1,500 mu of dry land, and 1,300 mu of forestland. The main cash crop is tea, with existing tea plantation areas covering more than 1,200 mu.
