The Rear Hospital of the Min Dong Red Army Independent Regiment is a cultural relic protection unit of Fu’an City.

The Rear Hospital of the Min Dong Red Army Independent Regiment is located in Dongping Village, Xibing Town, Fu’an City. Dating back to the Republican era, it is classified as an important modern historical site and representative building.

It is located at Dongxiang Dingtou Da Cuo in Dongping Village, Xibing Town. Constructed during the Republican era, the building faces southwest from a northeast orientation. It is a civil-engineered, courtyard-style structure with a total width of 17.26 meters, a total depth of 17 meters, and covers an area of 293.42 square meters. The complex consists of a front courtyard, main house, and rear courtyard. The main house has five bays in width, seven columns in depth, a post-and-lintel roof frame, and a gable-and-hip roof. It is three stories high, with second- and third-floor eaves extending from the gables on both sides. Inside the house, a small wooden plaque inscribed with “Rear Hospital of the Min Dong Red Army Independent Regiment” is preserved. It served as an important revolutionary site in the Min Dong Revolutionary Base Area and holds significant historical value for the study of the Min Dong revolution.

On February 20, 2013, the Fu’an Municipal People’s Government designated it as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit in the fifth batch.
