The Yuhua Cave at the foot of Tianshijie Mountain is hailed as “the most splendid mountain scenery in Fujian, a heavenly lake on earth.” Stretching 2.5 kilometers, it features two passages and six branch caves: Canghe, Leigong, Guozhi, Huangni, Xiyuan, and Baiyun. It also boasts three springs: Stone Spring, Well Spring, and Spirit Spring.

A natural outcrop of groundwater forms a spring. Springs provide an ideal water source for humans and can also create many scenic and tourism resources, such as therapeutic springs and drinking springs. China has over 100,000 springs in total, which are widely distributed and come in a rich variety of types. There are countless famous springs across the country.
