Hongfeng Valley in Moyuan Township, Jiangle County, is located in the southeastern part of Jiangle County, Sanming City, within the Da Yuhua Cave scenic area. It is about 15 kilometers from Jiangle and approximately 55 kilometers from Sanming District. The Hongfeng Valley project has a planned total investment of 120 million yuan, covering an area of over 3,000 acres. It includes three major sections—natural culture, farming culture, and Zen meditation culture—as well as more than twenty sub-projects such as waterfalls and streams, water amusement parks, and Zen wellness retreats. The project actively aligns with initiatives including provincial water scenic areas, poverty alleviation tourism villages, beautiful countryside development, greenway construction, and ecological parking lots, striving to secure millions in project funding support. In accordance with the principle of “overall planning, phased implementation, and gradual progress,” the project planned to invest 10 million yuan in 2017, focusing on developing sub-projects such as waterfalls, hiking trails, water amusement parks, barbecue campsites, and ecological parking lots, which were completed and entered trial operation.

The functional areas of the scenic spot include: agricultural technology experience zones, agricultural science education demonstration areas, multifunctional educational conference zones, pristine wetland and natural forest ecological zones, water resource wellness and fitness zones, leisure club zones, and health recreation zones. Additionally, there is an exotic poultry farming area that raises pearl guinea fowl, Guangxi fowl, pheasants, gray swans, and wild ducks. There are also plans to plant various orchards such as plum, peach, pear, chestnut, magnolia, osmanthus, and cherry gardens, serving multiple functions including leisure, sightseeing, and fitness.
