Location: Shengli Street, Telecom Lane, Guyong Town, Jiangle County

Introduction: Constructed in the 13th year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty (1735), it was built to commemorate Lady Lin, the virtuous widow of Yang Zongsun, a direct descendant of Yang Shi. The structure faces northwest from the southeast, has a rectangular floor plan, and covers an area of 448.4 square meters. It is composed of a memorial archway-style gatehouse, main hall, and rear hall. The gatehouse is built of brick in a wood-like style, featuring a five-pillar, four-bay, four-story design; the main hall has five bays in width and four in depth, with a single-eave gable-and-hip roof; the rear hall is three bays wide and three bays deep, with a single-eave hanging gable roof, and is two stories high.

Protected Area: Extends northeast beyond Health Lane, southeast beyond Telecom Lane, northwest to the empty lot of the Construction Bank, and southwest to Paoma Gully.

In 2009, the Yang Family Ancestral Hall in Jiangle was designated as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.

Covering a total area of 220 square kilometers, the town government is located on the north bank of the Jinxi River in the county seat, serving as the center of politics, economy, and culture for Jiangle County.

In the third year of the Tiande era during the Min Kingdom of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms (964 AD), when Jiangle was elevated from a county to a prefecture, there was Xitai Mountain in the western suburbs of the county seat. Its shape resembled an inverted bell, hence the name “Yongzhou.” Later, due to its long history, it was renamed “Guyong.”
