The Yang Clan Ancestral Hall in Jiaohu is a cultural heritage site protected by Fujian Province.

The Yang Clan Ancestral Hall in Jiaohu is located in Jiaohu Village, Nan Kou Township, Jiangle County, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: Also known as Yong Si Tang, it was first built in the 56th year of the Kangxi reign (1717) during the Qing Dynasty and renovated in the 17th year of the Daoguang reign (1837). Facing southeast and situated northwest, the structure consists of two rows on the left and right, covering an area of 1,141 square meters. The right row includes the lower hall, corridors on both sides, the upper hall, etc. The lower hall has five bays in width and three pillars in depth, with a post-and-lintel and pier-and-lintel beam framework; the upper hall has three bays in width and seven pillars in depth with a rear corridor, featuring a pier-and-lintel beam system, both topped with flush-gable roofs. The left row currently preserves the upper hall and wing rooms. The upper hall has three bays in width and seven pillars in depth, with a hanging gable roof; the wing rooms have five bays in width and four pillars in depth. In the autumn of 1933, the Sixth Red Army Division was stationed in Jiaohu, with its divisional headquarters set up here.

In 2013, the Yang Clan Ancestral Hall in Jiaohu was announced by the People’s Government of Fujian Province as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units.
