The Central Soviet County Memorial Hall of Jiangle is a classic red tourism destination and a patriotic education base.

The Central Soviet County Memorial Hall of Jiangle is located at No. 32, Binhe North Road, Guyong Town, Jiangle County.

During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, Jiangle was an important part of the Central Soviet Area. Veteran proletarian revolutionaries such as Zhu De and Peng Dehuai once fought and lived in Jiangle. Commanders and fighters from the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th Red Armies, as well as the Red Army's Eastern Army, once galloped across this red land. In the arduous struggle, the Red Army established a Soviet government here, organized and mobilized the people of Jiangle to fight landlords, distribute land, join the army, and take part in battles. They also formed local armed forces and raised grain and funds for the Red Army. The people of Jiangle provided strong logistical support to the Red Army's counter-"encirclement" campaigns and strategic relocation efforts in terms of manpower, materials, and finances. They made significant contributions to the victory of the Chinese revolution and paid a great sacrifice. Jiangle County became a new Soviet area pioneered by the Red Army's Eastern Army between June 1933 and February 1934. In 2008, the Jiangle County Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Jiangle County People’s Government built the "Jiangle · Central Soviet County Memorial Hall" to further promote the history of the revolutionary struggle of the Jiangle Soviet Area and to carry forward the spirit of the Soviet Area. It was officially opened to the public on September 18 of that year.

The Central Soviet County Memorial Hall of Jiangle covers an area of 200 square meters and features eight thematic sections: “Shining Through the Ages,” “Founding of the Soviet Area,” “Red Government,” “Support-the-Front Movement,” “Land Distribution,” “Affection for the Soviet Area,” “Scientific Development,” and “Chronology of Major Events.” Each main section includes several sub-sections, displaying over 200 artifacts and more than 300 photographs.

In March 2011, the Central Soviet County Memorial Hall of Jiangle was designated as a Jiangle County Patriotic Education Base by the Jiangle County Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Jiangle County People’s Government.

Guyong Town: Located in the central part of Jiangle County, Guyong Town is the county’s political, economic, cultural, and transportation hub. It covers a total area of 220 square kilometers. The town government is situated on the north bank of the Jinxi River in the county seat, serving as the political, economic, and cultural center of Jiangle County.

In the third year of the Tiande era during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period under the Min Kingdom (964 AD), when Jiangle was elevated from a county to a prefecture, a mountain called Xitai Shan, which resembled an inverted bell, was located in the western suburbs of the county seat. The area was thus named “Yongzhou,” but later changed to “Guyong” due to its long history.
