The Former Site of the Red Army Tongtiegling Battle Command Post - Rongguang Ancestral Hall is located on the mountainside of Dapai'gang in the eastern part of Kanhou Village, Bailian Town, Jiangle County.

In March 1934, the 19th Division of the Red 7th Army Corps re-entered Kanhou Village and built fortifications such as trenches at key locations including Tongtiegling, waiting for an opportunity to intercept enemy forces heading to Guihua for reinforcements. The divisional headquarters was stationed at Rongguang Ancestral Hall, with Division Commander Xun Huazhou and Political Commissar Le Shaohua directing the Tongtiegling battle from there. On March 22, the Red 7th Army Corps ambushed the Nationalist Army’s 10th Division, led by Li Mochan, which was en route to Guihua, at Tongtiegling. Villagers enthusiastically joined the support teams, helping the Red Army transport artillery shells, rescue the wounded, and provide supplies. During the battle, the enemy dispatched three bombers to heavily bombard our positions, while ground forces took the opportunity to set the mountains on fire. With the fire out of control and the enemy caught in a dilemma, our forces pressed the advantage and pursued them, eliminating over 400 enemy troops, killing one regiment commander and three battalion commanders, capturing hundreds of prisoners, and seizing more than 1,000 rifles. On the 26th, the enemy’s 10th Division left Mingxi and entered our ambush zone, where they were severely struck again, resulting in over 100 more casualties, including two officers, along with the capture of three machine guns, over 50 rifles, and several loads of other military supplies. This battle dealt a heavy blow to the enemy’s arrogance, disrupted the Nationalists’ plans to implement the Eastern Defense Line, and played a significant role in defending the Central Soviet Area. The battle was reported in Issue 172 of the Red China newspaper. The Red 7th Army Corps was also commended by the Central Revolutionary Military Commission, with Xun Huazhou and Le Shaohua being awarded Second-Class Medals.

The Former Site of the Red Army Tongtiegling Battle Command Post - Rongguang Ancestral Hall was originally built during the Qing Dynasty, facing northwest and covering an area of approximately 483.3 square meters. It consists of a terrace, entrance hall, main hall, and east wing rooms. Its fire walls and brick carvings are exquisitely crafted. The slogans written on the exterior walls of the site with lime by the Red Army back then are still clearly visible. In 2010, the Jiangle County People's Government allocated special funds for its restoration.
