The Pucheng Sanshan Guild Hall is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The guild hall is situated in the southwest of the urban area, at the intersection of Jiaotong Road and Heping Road. It was constructed by fellow townsmen from Fuzhou living in Pucheng. As Fuzhou is also known as "Sanshan" (Three Mountains), it is thus named the "Sanshan Guild Hall." The original construction dates back to approximately the mid-Qing Dynasty, and it was renovated in the 33rd year of the Guangxu reign (1907). The building is a courtyard-style structure enclosed by a brick firewall, facing south with its back to the north. Along the central axis are, in sequence, the gate tower, stage, courtyard, worship pavilion, and main hall, with wing rooms and bell and drum towers on both sides. The current area is 821.57 square meters, with a total depth of 43.88 meters, and the overall layout remains largely intact.

The guild hall’s main gate is in a horse-hoof shape, featuring a grand and imposing nine-bay, nine-story facade resembling a memorial archway. Above the large brick gate is embedded a stone carving with the four characters “Sanshan Guild Hall.” The stage has two levels, divided into inner and outer sections. The outer section, i.e., the front performance area, has upturned eaves and ornate decorations, representing the finest part of the entire guild hall complex. The stage has a single-eave hip-and-gable roof. Its top features an octagonal caisson ceiling. The facade of the front eave beams is carved with the design of a carp leaping over the dragon gate; the side brackets are carved into two gilded large kylins.

The worship pavilion is located on the central axis in front of the main hall. On the left and right sides of the front eave pillars stand lion-shaped diagonal braces—one showing a lion playing with a ball, the other depicting a large lion with a small lion. On either side of the worship pavilion are the bell tower on the left and the drum tower on the right. The drum tower is newly built.

The main hall is the most important principal structure in the guild hall and serves as the enshrinement site for the statue of the Goddess of the Sea, Mazu. The main hall has a double-eave hip-and-gable roof, with a total height of 12.2 meters. Beneath the purlin of the lower eave in the central bay of the main hall, there remains ink writing that reads: “In the 33rd year of the Great Qing Guangxu reign, the first month of winter, on a certain day, the gentry collectively donated funds to renovate and rebuild this structure.”

This guild hall is the only remaining one in Pucheng County and also a rare example of guild hall architecture in northern Fujian. The location of the guild hall was the most important commercial district in ancient Pucheng and serves as concrete evidence of Pucheng being a place “where three provinces meet,” “rich in natural resources,” and “a hub for officials and merchants.” It also stands as a major testament to the long-standing frequent commercial exchanges between Pucheng and regions such as Zhejiang, Jiangxi, and Fuzhou.

In 2009, the Sanshan Guild Hall was designated as a seventh batch provincial-level cultural heritage site by the People's Government of Fujian Province.

Construction Community: The Construction Community Neighborhood Committee is located in the southwestern part of the city. It is bordered by Yanweilong to the east, the Nanpu Stream to the south, Qixing Bridge to the west, and Wuyisan Road to the north. The total area of the jurisdiction is 0.23 square kilometers, with a total population of 5,584, including 1,833 households and 372 migrant residents. There are 24 resident groups, and the community currently has 18 party members. Within the jurisdiction, there are seven institutions: the County Court, the County Commercial Corporation, the County Highway Sub-bureau, Pucheng No. 3 Middle School, Xinhua Hospital, Chengjiao Hospital, and Chengjiao Credit Cooperative.
