Geshan Pass is located in Liantangban Village, Fuling Town, Pucheng County, dating back to the Song Dynasty.

Liantangban Village: The village committee of Liantangban Village is located in Liantangban. The terrain resembles a lotus flower and forms a mountain basin. In front of the village there are terraced fields, surrounded by large and small mountain flats, hence originally named Lotus Flat. Later, because the flat resembled a pond, it was renamed Liantangban (Lotus Pond Flat). It is 15 kilometers from the town center. The village borders Shuangkeng to the northwest, Longquan Baoxi Shikeng to the northeast, Shuangtong to the southeast, and Yuanpan to the southwest.
