Shanzhou Village: Shanzhou Village in Liantang Town is located in the western part of Pucheng County, about four kilometers from the county seat. It currently has a population of 2,368 people, with 679 households divided among five natural villages: Shanzhou, Shuigeqian, Shuigedong, Yaozhitou, and Pandun. The village has 4,323 mu of arable land and 5,860 mu of forestland. In the past, Shanzhou Village was commonly known as “Grain-Filled Shanzhou.” To the east of the bridge lies an endless expanse of flat farmland with fertile soil and convenient irrigation, suitable for growing rice and other crops. In early September 1932, Fang Zhimin led the Red Tenth Army to capture Pucheng, and the logistics department hospital was stationed at Shuige.
