Wannian Palace now serves as the Zhu Xi Memorial Hall. Inside the palace are two thousand-year-old osmanthus trees, said to have been planted when Li Liangzuo built the Taoist temple in the second year of the Baoda era of the Southern Tang Dynasty (944 AD). One of the trees later died, and during the Song Dynasty, Zhu Xi replanted one. The two osmanthus trees, twisted like dragons and coiling like snakes, are known as the "Osmanthus Kings."

It is the gateway to the Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area, located at the mouth of the Nine-Bend Stream. Initially built during the Tianbao era of the Tang Dynasty (742–755 AD), it was expanded during the Song Dynasty to over 300 rooms. Currently, two Dragon Wells, Wannian Palace, and the Sanqing Hall remain.

The Sanqing Hall now houses the International Lanting Academy. Inside the hall are four precious stone inscriptions: the Zhongding Spirit Way Stele, Dongtian Xianfu, poems by Ming Dynasty’s Gong Yiqing and modern poet Guo Moruo about their visits to Wuyi Mountain.
