Little Peach Blossom Land

: About 1 kilometer north of Yunwo, follow the Squirrel Stream upstream to reach the entrance of Peach Blossom Cave. Step through a crevice in the rock and cross the stone gate, and you’ll be greeted by a sudden expanse of flat fields, neat houses, cottages, peach orchards, bamboo groves, stone pools, and small streams. It’s just like the Peach Blossom Spring described by Tao Yuanming.

Surrounded by peaks such as Cangping Peak, Three-Tiered Peak, Heavenly Pot Peak, and North Corridor Rock, the area also hosts the Kaiyuan Hall, an important center for Taoist activities in Wuyi Mountain. Attractions here include Peach Blossom Hermitage, the former site of Kaiyuan Hall, as well as Peach Stone, Golden Brick Stone, Li Spring, and Wu Gong Cave. Heading north, you can climb up to SanYang Peak. Little Peach Blossom Land, also known as Peach Blossom Cave, is located on the northern bank of the sixth bend of Wuyi Mountain, between Cangping Peak and North Corridor Rock. It earned its name for resembling the Peach Blossom Spring of Wuling. The area features mostly steep cliffs and cliffsides, with the rapid Squirrel Stream rushing through the valley. About a li upstream along the stream, rocks block the valley and halt the flow of water, where massive boulders lean against each other forming a cave.
