Famous historical sites to the north of the mountain, such as Liuxiang Gully, Yuzhu Peak, Huiyuan, Yingzui Rock, Shuiliandong Cave, Dujie Rock, and Matou Rock, are all located around it. Beneath the rock stands a temple, originally named Shanxin Yongle Nunnery. It was renamed Tianxin Nunnery during the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty and later changed to Yongle Chan Temple in the Qing Dynasty. It is one of the largest temples on Mount Wuyi.

Located in the northeastern part of Mount Wuyi. It is said to be the center of the entire mountain range, much like the celestial pole, hence the name "Tianxin" (Heaven’s Heart). Tianxin Rock is one of the tea-producing areas of Mount Wuyi. On the western slopes of Jiulongkeng, west of Yongle Chan Temple, lies the renowned “Da Hong Pao” rock tea producing area.
