Yulong Valley is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Wuyishan Yulong Valley Scenic Area is situated in the southern part of the ecological protection zone upstream of the Nine Bend River in the Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area, 13.8 kilometers from the Wuyi Mountain Resort. The total operational area covers 930 hectares, with the core scenic area spanning 858 hectares. It features the history of Ming Dynasty silver mines and a series of waterfalls, including the Guest-Greeting Pine, Yulong Waterfall, Mulong Waterfall, Zhaotianzhu, Pearl Waterfall, Sword Pool, Homesick Waterfall, Jiudie Shoal, Fuxi Cave, and Yulong Cave, complemented by quaint teahouses. It is a comprehensive scenic area integrating canyons, waterfall clusters, caves, artificial lakes, and pristine ecological forests.

The Yulong Valley Scenic Area is an ecological canyon stretching from Hongxing Village to Nanshan Village in Xingcun Town. The upper reaches of the canyon feature an artificial lake formed by a reservoir and ancient silver mining tunnels left by people over 700 years ago. The canyon is lush with vegetation, boasts verdant mountains and clear waters, and is dotted with numerous waterfalls and diverse wildlife. The ecological environment and tourism resources are exceptionally well-preserved, especially the ancient silver mining tunnels, which are the only ones in China currently developed for tourism. The development of the Yulong Valley Scenic Area fills the gap of no cave exploration in the Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area and also enriches the content and appeal of Wuyi Mountain tourism.
