Dazhulan
Dazhulan is located southwest of Xianfeng Ridge, surrounded by high mountains with a basin at its center. In ancient times, a provincial highway ran through the area. Historically, it was a densely populated village, but during the Liberation War, much of the population migrated elsewhere, leaving only a few households that eventually moved out in the early post-liberation years and merged into Aotou Village. The area contains sites such as Guanyin Pit, Eighteen Leaps, and Doumi Ridge, which are associated with beautiful and moving legends. Stepping into Dazhulan, you find yourself immersed in a sea of bamboo, experiencing the charm of these graceful plants and feeling instantly refreshed. Dazhulan boasts a rich diversity of insect species and large populations, earning it the reputation of being an “Insect World.”
