The Tongmu Stream originates from Huanggang Mountain and Qinglong Waterfall in the Wuyishan National Nature Reserve, and is one of the sources of the Nine-Bend Stream. It is the clearest and purest water source in Wuyishan, located 20 kilometers from the scenic area;

The Tongmu Stream Drift, also known as the “No. 1 Drift in East China,” is a rubber boat rafting experience. The drifting section is 12 Chinese li long, and the whole trip takes approximately one and a half hours—thrilling and exciting. The starting point is within the nature reserve, and the endpoint is near Qinglong River and Taoyuan Valley. With fast-moving water, perilous rocks in the way, and constant bumps, the maximum drop reaches 2.8 meters;

There are four or five sections with extremely steep drops, requiring you to hold on tight to the raft the whole way—non-stop thrills and endless fun. A must-do for young travelers visiting Wuyishan;
