The Martyrs' Cemetery of the Chishi Uprising is a cultural tourism attraction, a classic red tourism site, a patriotic education base, and a national defense education base.

The Martyrs' Cemetery of the Chishi Uprising is located on the banks of the Chongyang Stream in downtown Wuyishan. On June 7, 1942, over 80 officers and soldiers of the 6th Detachment of the New Fourth Army, who were imprisoned by the Kuomintang at the Shangrao Concentration Camp in Jiangxi, launched the sensational Chishi Uprising under the leadership of a secret Party organization in Wuyishan. To commemorate the 73 martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the uprising, the cemetery was first built in 1950. It covers an area of 58,000 square meters, with a construction area of 3,040 square meters, and includes a memorial hall, a memorial corridor, a mourning square, a joint tomb for the martyrs, a wall of martyrs’ names, a memorial archway, a memorial pavilion, and an ancient ferry dock. The cemetery is a national classic red tourism site, a Fujian Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit, a Fujian Provincial Martyrs’ Memorial Facilities Protection Unit, a Fujian Provincial National Defense Education Base, and a Fujian Provincial Patriotic Education Base.
