The Wuyi Mountain Tea Museum is located within the "China Wuyi Tea Expo Park" in the Wuyi Mountain National Tourist Resort, adjacent to the "Impression Dahongpao" live landscape performance area.

The Wuyi Mountain Tea Museum, facing Dazhai Peak and located by the Chongyang Stream, is a cluster-style traditional Chinese garden architectural complex and one of the three main components of the Wuyi Mountain Tea Culture Square. It covers an exhibition area of 2,600 square meters. As another major tea culture project in Wuyi Mountain following the China Tea Expo Park and the "Impression Dahongpao" live performance, the museum integrates multiple functions including display, collection, appreciation, experience, and dissemination. It comprehensively showcases and reflects Wuyi tea and the tea culture of Wuyi Mountain.

On the first floor of the museum, the main hall features a digital media comprehensive exhibition space. This exhibition area utilizes world-leading digital technology and multimedia methods to present the rich history and culture of Wuyi Rock Tea in a new way. The hall includes a curved-screen cinema, digitally projected semi-scene walls, an electronic sand table of the Tea Road, 360° holographic imagery, and a 5D dynamic exhibition zone, all providing visitors with a strong visual impact. In addition, the side hall on the first floor and the second floor of the Tea Museum use traditional exhibition methods to feature five themed exhibition areas: Historical Origins, Production Techniques, Tea Customs and Tea Art, Tea Ware Through the Dynasties, and Circulation and Dissemination. Visitors can explore the long history and evolution of Wuyi tea, and experience the profound historical and cultural heritage of Wuyi tea.
